If you have more than 20 authors, you will need to edit your reference to replace the authors between the 19th and the last author with ellipses (.). To make sure that the producer is formatted correctly the user will need to enter a name as:įor transcribed interviews, APA requires the full name of the interviewer in a first name, then last name format. If you are citing a reference type that is not included in EndNote, you should consult the APA manual. ĮndNote can handle most of the requirements of the APA style, but EndNote does not include the full spectrum of reference types that are described in the APA manual.

These abbreviations come from a specific list created by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) in the US. One of the features of AMA style are the special abbreviations of the journal names.
